SNJEŽANA PREMUŠ: DOLLY MY BODY
[Dolly – moje telo]


Razmerja človeškega telesa in drugih medijev ostajajo tudi po desetih letih prepoznavne, samosvoje ustvarjalne poti v središču odrskega zanimanja koreografke in plesalke Snježane Premuš; med drugim nadaljuje tudi naslov aktualne predstave logiko naslovov nekaterih prejšnjih, v katerih je bilo telo dvakrat ozvočeno in enkrat utišano. Amplified Body 1 in 2 [Ozvočeno telo 1 in 2] raziskujeta razmerja realnosti telesa skozi razprte dimenzije zvoka, Silent Body [Tiho telo] na podlagi realnega, živega telesa preizprašuje različne vrste in stopnje materialnosti – naslednji korak v razvoju, ki temelji na dosedanjih raziskavah odrskega sobivanja oz. (so)vplivanja giba, zvoka in videa, uvaja različne načine multiplikacije telesa. Po eni strani to neizogibno vodi v grozo pred podobo, ker učinkovito postavlja pod vprašaj enkratnost, individualnost in neponovljivost subjekta, po drugi odpira vprašanja izgube oz. odsotnosti telesa.
Predstava že od začetka nastaja kot sodelovanje; zastavljena je kot sočasni razvoj zvokovnega, gibalnega in vizualnega materiala, s čimer aktivno preizprašuje razmerja med telesom in tehnologijo, predvsem v točkah možne prevlade enega ali drugega.

Even after ten years, the relations of the human body and other media remain defining and outstanding features at the heart of stage performance of the choreographer and dancer Snježana Premuš. Among other things, the title of the show continues the logic of some of the previous titles, in which the body was twice amplified and once silenced. Amplified Body 1 and 2 explore the relations of a body’s reality through open dimensions of sound. Silent Body relies on a real and living body to examine various types and levels of materiality – the next step in a development based on researching coexistence on stage, i.e. the interactions of movement, sound and video introduces various multiplications of the body. This inevitably leads to being frightened of an image, as it effectively questions the distinctiveness, individuality and uniqueness of the subject, while it also raises questions of the loss or absence of the body.
The show is a collaborative effort, a concurrent development of auditory, motor and visual material, so as to thoroughly re-examine the relationships between the body and technology, particularly at junctures where one may prevail over the other.
